Not only dead in Firefox but it's dead in Chromium as well.richb wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 1:24 pmI am using chrome, maybe a FF issue.Mauser wrote: ↑Sun Jan 13, 2019 1:22 pmUnable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at ipleak.net.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I am command line illiterate. I copy & paste to the terminal. Liars, Wiseguys, Trolls, and those without manners will be added to my ignore list.
Re: DNS leak tests
Here both Chromium and FF get connected to the site.
Re: DNS leak tests
https://ipleak.net/ Works in my case in Chromium and Firefox. So I do not know why you are not getting to it. What do you mean by dead? Do you get an error message.

Re: DNS leak tests
That means facebook has a hand in that site because I have facebook blocked by a host file.

Re: DNS leak tests
Couldn't tell. Might be. Would that be something that could show in Privacy Badger or Ghostery?
Re: DNS leak tests
I don't know. I learned about blocking facebook by the YouTube channel Switch To Linux. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoryWp ... dyw/videos I forgot which video he shows you how to do it. He posts a lot of good information.

Re: DNS leak tests
Does running a VPNs generally through the network manager cause leaks?
@richb have you tried using PIA through the network manager? Because I would like to use pia service in antiX but it doesnt use systemd which the GUI client is dependent on.

Re: DNS leak tests
I was using it through Network manager. More difficult to set up but it does work. The legacy app from PIA does work on MX booting sysvinit. So it should work on antiX.
