Waterfox package

Don't know if this issue will fix itself, and also don't know where to put this,
but the MX Package Installer is currently unable to get the Waterfox browser due to certificate and/or GPG errors.

We also have 64-bit 56.2.5 64-bit in the MX test repo, though I see it needs to be updated to 56.2.6. On that...

If the Installer is getting it from the Waterfox OBS repo, it's also a known issue that all of the OBS repos recently required users to reinstall the key. This one-liner will do it for MX 17/18/Debian 9.0:

Code: Select all

rm -f Release.key && wget -nv https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:hawkeye116477:waterfox/Debian_9.0/Release.key -O Release.key && sudo apt-key add - < Release.key && rm -f Release.key

To test and give a new opportunity to Waterfox, I just installed it from the package installer and then from the Repository of tests I updated it and it works without problems.

Since MX now provides its own Waterfox packages, can waterfox.list file be removed in /etc/apt/sources.list.d ?

Yes. We also put 56.2.6 into main. The Package Installer will need to be changed to reflect that.
