Other desktop environments ?

To all MX Linux users:

Do you use another desktop environment instead of XFCE ?

And if so, why do you like it better than the default XFCE ?

No. My first DE in Linux was Xfce (Mint) and I just can't start liking anything else.
After a while I stopped trying ;-)

No, I only use Xfce because it's similar to Windows 7's G.U.I. but with the added benefit of Favorites in the application menu.
I am command line illiterate.

Other desktops that seem to work well with MX, in my tests:

GNOME 3
Enlightenment 22, now in our main repo.
Cinnamon (3.8 is in the test repo)
Mate (1.20 is in stretch-backports)
KDE from the Package Installer, may need some appearance tweaks. Adding the NeptuneOS repo can get a newer version.

Plus most lesser known window managers, etc.

Oh, yes, LXQT, as well as Budgie. We have newer versions of those in the test repo, too.

I have a certain affection for KDE but I never seem to stick with it. Xfce is my stable DE, and sometimes MATE.

I use Openbox. It gives me all I need. ;) (I know it is a WM not a DE, but hey!)

Xfce has all I ever need. It's stable. The best thing about Xfce is that it just doesn't tick me off.

I have many distros, and a spread of DEs as a result: XFCE, KDE Plasma, Gnome, Budgie, Cinnamon, MATE

I also have an openbox distro.

I'm not keen on LXQT at all.
