Video Problem in Chrome

Some times youtube videos are not playing properly in chrome and vimeo videos are also not playing properly whereas in Firefox everything is fine what may be the reason before also i have problem i thought that it was because of chromium but the problem exists now also is there any solution?

I don't know if it's related to that, but Youtube recently did something that broke the Firefox extensions I had for downloading videos from that site. I'm updating our youtube-dl to work around that.

Hello Thanks stevo for the reply but it is also happening with VImeo videos when i paly some videos on vimeo there is sound comming from the video but the picture will move slowly and when i tried to close the tab it wont close as i click on it takes some time for the opened tab to close this problem exists only with Chrome and Chromium Firefox is good though

Does it help if you turn off video acceleration in Chrome(ium)?

Working fine now what is the disadvantage by selecting this option
