#1 Post by rikhard.fsoss » Sun Aug 19, 2018 10:26 am

hello all,

is it possible to install and use linux containers on mxlinux?

i know that i have to install snapd to install lxd, but since mxlinux doesn't make use of systemd, can we use linux containers?

thanks in advance

Not by default, but you can boot into it. Some Wiki help on your question:

https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/systemd

https://mxlinux.org/wiki/applications/s ... ages-mx-17
Production: 4.15.0-1-amd64, MX-17.1, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 8 GB, Kingston SSD 120 GB and WesternDigital 1TB
Testing: AAO 722: 4.15.0-1-386. MX-17.1, AMD C-60 APU, 4 GB
