PyPar2 is an easy-to-use GUI for par2. According to the project's website, it "uses GTK through the PyGTK library" (http://pypar2.silent-blade.org/). MX-17's (Debian's) repos provide the latest version (1.4).
On an MX-17.1 test system (DE localization), PyPar2 cannot be used fully, as the application window is partly being cut off.
Please have a look at the screenshot on http://pypar2.silent-blade.org/uploads/ ... vanced.png. There you'll see a tab at the very right of "advanced settings", named "Beginning".
On the test installation I have here, that tab is cut off. I can see a letter "B", right next to "Daten vergleichen", but no more. I can't activate that tab either.
Can you reproduce that?
