Conky Helps and Stuff

I have some conkies using the 1d_accuweather_rss script. That still seems to work. I guess because it's using the weather fonts rather than actual picture files for the weather conditions?

Good question.
I don't know anything about it yet and it also works excellently here. Maybe so long, until Accuweather also puts a "good cookie" on it, as the Sector11 said.

But you should note that TBG reorganized the packet on 28-9-17 and since then it is called 1_accuweather_RSS

Seems like this weather conky is freezing the standard one I have on the desktop randomly so I have to kill them all and restart.

I have not let the weather conky start for a number of days now, and my basic conky doesn't freeze anymore.

So.. there is something wrong happening with the weather one.

Could it be that adjusted update time?

Please show me the terminal output of the basic Conky and the weather Conky.

the problem is, MX17 runs Conky version 1.10
in the Conky Manager all configurations are in 1.9 and are represented by a "trick".

Either - Or :lipsrsealed:
- You bring the Weather Conky into the Conky Manager
- You rewrite the weather Conky from 1.9 to 1.10 and shut down the Conky Manager
- You are using this 1.10 version of the Weather Conky

I don't even use the conky manager.. I found it a hassle and difficult *giggle* I don't switch easily from methods known


Rewrite from 1.9 to 1.10 when you say I am using 1.10?
