I get this as when searching on "basic" The header says:

Search found 838 matches: Basic

And there are numerous threads on many pages that can be navigated on the bottom of the page. The latest, since I have my settings by date descending, show up first. You may need to navigate the other pages to find what you want.

You can also reine and narrow the search by adding other search terms by using the plus sign in front of them.

EDIT: I see kmathern beat me too it.

I get a couple of additional threads that way (no "+" signs) but you'd think I'd get even more with just "basic".

Anyhow, question answered ... trying to sort challenges with Unison and DisplayPort on other threads and other forums now ...

Thanks!

search.php?keywords=Basic&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sr=posts&sk=t&sd=d&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search

You are looking at the bottom or top of the page where you click to bring up other pages of the search?

"Search found 8 matches • Page 1 of 1"

But ... I spotted the problem ... if I Search when I'm on the page of the thread that's what I get.

IF ... I back up to the "Software/Configuration" page then I get

"Search found 56 matches" plus a ton of additional pages to follow.

It was only searching within the thread ... which I should have noticed (after all these years with computers and in Linux that should have been intuitive to me) ... but I'm usually doing this late in the day when I'm tired ...
