Looking to hide Firefox Quantum titlebar

#1 Postby danielson » Mon Nov 20, 2017 8:18 pm

Firefox Quantum is much better than initially thought and was wondering if anyone found a workaround to hide or autohide the titlebar that comes with it now.
Legacy addons were a huge plus for this, but can't find substitutes.

I don't pretend to know if this will work, but it comes up in a search: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... title-bar/

Have downloaded Firefox 57 and the addon dolphin_oracle was gracious in pointing out to me seems to do the trick.
Just have to figure out how to add it to the panel (cf. help file hey Jerry!).

The easy way: right-click the desktop > Create Launcher. Fill in the details and say OK. Once the launcher is on the desktop, then just drag it to the Panel.
Production: 4.7.0-0.bpo.1-amd64, MX-15 RC1, AMD FX-4130 Quad-Core, GeForce GT 630/PCIe/SSE2, 8 GB, Kingston SSD 120 GB and WesternDigital 1TB
Testing: AAO 722: 3.16-0-4-686-pae. MX-15, AMD C-60 APU, 4 GB

Something isn't going on right.
First 57 loads, then at re-start, 56 comes back.
Think i'll just wait for MX to make it available.
Besides, 56 is pretty fast on this version of Linux.
