Migration .. Some new programs .. GOG games downloader

#1 Postby KernSpy » Wed Sep 23, 2015 10:25 am

Just went through the migration (nice guide) and finished
up to 14.4. I added Focus Writer & Stellarium from the
community repos. I haven't got to the latest versions of
Wesnoth and Warzone yet, but hope to later.
The migration guide is here: http://mepiscommunity.org/migration

If you have a games account on GOG, you probably know
there isn't any fancy graphical Installer like GOG Galaxy /
GOG Downloader for Linux, but there is .. LGOGdownloader.
Its a command line downloader for linux and it uses the
same API as the official GOGDownloader.

Installing the lgogdownloader ..

Anyway, I found a deb file for Linux (Debian 7 Wheezy or
Debian 8 Jessie 32bit) and it is here @

There is also debs for other distros.

Here is a basic guide on using lgogdownloader from webupd8 ...

All for now ...

Thanks. That migration document cost us a lot of blood, sweat and (almost) tears.
