Problems Touchpad - Dell Latitude E5570

Post by tkonicz » Tue Jun 27, 2017 2:44 pm

the touchpad-settings in XFCE-settings are not enforced systemwide. When changing the scroll direction of my touchpad (reverse scroll direction), some applications (like Firefox and Liberoffice) do adapt. But others, like Synaptic or the MX-Tools, keep the other scroll direction. This is a showstopper: I have to adapt to a different scroll direction depending on the app I use! I already reported this bug while using MX 16.
Hope this is helpful in solving this problem, for MX is a very good distro overall. A very good concept, to merge stable Debian with high usability. Just some rough edges to polish.

Greetings, Tom
