Well said, Jerry...

I use Facebook, doesn't bother me.

Fan or no fan... really what difference does it make? If you want to help (reach) others, you need to be where they are and communicate in ways which they prefer. Even then, it is often difficult to make "solid" productive connections.

I agree, I personally won't be there since I despise Facebook and their practices, that being said I am happy people are able to communicate and create a community there, besides it's their personal choice, we can vent all we want about Facebook but if people use it it's a moot point anyway -- it's like discussing about people's diet preferences, it's irrelevant what you think about what other people eat, the only relevant thing and the only thing you can do something about is what you eat.

We have nothing against users setting up an unofficial Discord presence, but I really doubt if you'll find any of the developers there. Heck, maybe we'll even list it if it becomes successful.

Avoid discord
they are notorious of wiping people & group's servers, entire accounts with an appeal-able perma-ban.

Discord does NOT honor their data collection policy

I have current first hand experience with discord.
discord gives cover for recruiting far-right groups, illegal gun trading, refugee harassment hate groups.
discord needs to be shutdown
