No slapd package in repo!

#1

Post by kashifmax » Sun Aug 04, 2019 9:28 am

Hi,
Just downloaded MX Linux and trying it out.

I was trying to install slapd (openldap) package but it says

Code: Select all

Package slapd is not available but is referred to by another package!
I updated the sources list but nothing happened.

Thanks

You might need to update the package lists not the source list by running,
e.g. from the command line:

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
check slapd availability with

Code: Select all

sudo apt policy slapd
If nothing is shown do post "Quick System Info" (found in the "Menu")
