hi.
Maybe users should not drink "Jack Daniels" and post :-)

If I had to guess I would say the user is asking why didn't MXinstaller automatically installed the new version?
But people here should not have to guess what the question is...

Tips for new users: please post a direct question, also supplying the most detailed information on your system, if that's relevant to your question...

P.

I can think of several options:

1) Is that green normal?
I have seen it appear in my list as well, it seems random, but it doesn't transfer to the skin, so it's ok

2) Is that update safe?
Yes

3) Why is there an update for me, I have my system installed already?
Because that package updates, just like any other, even if it is installed.

I wager that answers them all in one go ;)

It doesn't really look random to me, I think the green ones are commented out (disabled) repo entries, none of them are checkmarked.

maybe he's asking how come MX uses a repo that has the antix label?

He can always check the MX official site for the MX repo sources list

We can keep guessing or wait until he clarifies his question.

True.. but for me they can appear in green and then the next time I open Synaptic they are black again. *shrug* Not a clue what causes that, but I never thought it an issue so never posted about it.

Presumably one can therefore assume everything in Synaptic is copacetic
Amazed nobody asked what was 'pinned'

We're not mind readers, it is still unclear what you are looking for comments wise.
