Adding these to your /etc/fstab should work

Code: Select all

UUID=98C00E9CC00E80AC /media/Shared  ntfs-3g  defaults  0  0
UUID=045f6195-6f28-4290-b36e-70d17b820629  /media/Backups  ext4  defaults  0  0
Make sure you create folders to be the two mount points (/media/Shared & /media/Backups).

There are other options you might want to use with the ntfs partition to kinda-sorta keep permissions consistent (ntfs has permissions but they're not equivalent to Linux style permissions). Here's the relevant page from the Arch wiki:

MSI 970A-G43 MB, AMD FX-6300 (six core), 16GB RAM, GeForce 730, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD, Seagate Barracuda XT 3TB
