Cgroups? Do I still need ulatencyd?

Post by Phylwx » Mon Jan 07, 2019 3:55 am

Hey, just installed MX18 today and I was configuring stuff. Working on a couple cracked grumpy toasters from the early 2000's and they require to be massaged in just the right way to work and I though I half saw something something C groups... at boot? at shutdown? Can't quite remember, I hope I didn't misread or just hallucinated it, couldn't find anything on cgroups in the user manual. Also duck duck doesn't go... so...
Do I still need to get ulatencyd? Or MX18 already comes with some workload funnel of its own?

In advance Thank you so much for your time.
Glad to meet you people. :p

Tell us more, your first message is to me a bit cryptic, although that might mean I'm hopeless... 9_9
