Something odd while installing with MXPI ...

#1 Post by KernSpy » Sat Oct 20, 2018 3:40 pm

At the end of the Wine install it reported: processing finished successfully.
fourfla
No passwd entry for user 'fourfla+'

Haven't seen it leave that before.

Have you installed through populare apps?
If yes, I assume we need to look into that postinstall of the Wine installation
within mx-packageinstaller-pkglist for Wine.
Probably better to post this as a bug-report, so it will not overlooked.

can you run mx-packageinstaller, and while its running do this from a terminal

Code: Select all

ps -aux |grep -m 1 su-to-root |grep -v grep|awk '{print $1}'

Suggest to use this instead of the above within the postinstaller :

Code: Select all

launch_user=$(logname)

Yes, I did.
OK I'll do that.

I tried the command in the terminal with the mxpi open and there was no output.

Code: Select all

launch_user=$(logname)
