Replace keyboard driver

#1 Post by cybervigilante » Wed Oct 17, 2018 3:04 pm

My system is sending wierd control characters that then screw it up. Often, they raise a terminal I can't kill and everything freezes until I ctrl-alt-backspace, although even that fails sometimes. I can even see a huge spiel of control characters printing when I shut down.

I changed keyboards so that's not it. How can I replace the keyboard driver, since I think that is the next step?

Will it stop when you remove the mouse?
