Planning moving to MX

#1 Post by mackronickson » Tue Oct 16, 2018 11:18 am

Hello, I'm looking forward to this distro but I still have some questions about it, since I'm starter at Linux and have been using deepin for some months so it can be very simple answer:

•Why do you guys like Mx? •Hows the support •About the drivers for Nvidia and Bluetooth since this is the biggest factor for my changing •And how's the updates and how do you update since some people compares a lot to mint

I am here for several reasons, the top two are: 1. MX is very stable and 2. MX support is extremely good IMHO.

Suggest you have a browse through the MX User Manual.
Homebrew64 bit Intel duo core 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Kingston SSD, Seagate1TB.
Primary OS : MX-17.1 64bit. Also MX17, Kubuntu14.04 & Puppy 6.3.
Dell9010, MX-17.1, Win7

I like MX Linux because it works. No lame excuses, no need to use the command line. Support is great. I know MX Linux has a Nvidia driver installer but I never use Nvidia because in my experience, no matter which O.S. distro when there is a video problem 99.9999% of the time it's Nvidia. Bluetooth works great on MX Linux.
