MX Repo errors

#1

Post by catsarekacamp » Thu Jun 28, 2018 7:20 pm

Apologies - I don't know how to format on forums. The MX repos are having errors on my laptop with a new install of MX 17

W: The repository 'http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch stretch Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.

E: Failed to fetch http://repo.antixlinux.com/stretch/dist ... 6/Packages Unable to connect to repo.antixlinux.com:http:
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Is there something I need to do to enable these repos?

Fixed problem by running MX-Repo-Manager and selecting a different MX repo.

I can not fix problem that way.
I tried every mirror - nothing, no updates, no Firefox 61.
What is the problem? In Antix also.

Only problem I'm seeing today, using the Utah mirror, is from the Virtualbox repo:
GPG error: http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian stretch InRelease: The following signatures couldn't be verified because the public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY A2F683C52980AECFThe repository 'http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian stretch InRelease' is not signed.
Imagine it will be sorted reasonably soon.

That one we have no control over. It's Oracle's.

You can import the key from Oracle, see down the page the instructions to download and install the key: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads
