LINKupARDOP Amateur Radio Digi

Post by NevilsStation » Sat Jun 16, 2018 5:10 pm

While on the topic of Amateur radio apps ...

I was looking at FSQcall and uichat then stumbled onto LINKupARDOP

Any chance this might play nicely with MX-17, please?

Better late than never, LINKUp (package name not capitalized) is now available in the MX-17 test repository.

Just as with fldigi I have none of the rigs necessary to test this, so I'm relying on feedback for any issues. And this time I didn't have a PPA debianization to work with, I had to build from scratch.

The sourceforge page says it needs Java 8 - but not what components, and it doesn't use any java internally - it's all c++. I put openjdk-8-jre in the Depends: just in case it calls some java through fldigi or another library.
