Booting automatically to a new user

#1

Has the automatic demo user been a problem for anybody else? I set my main user to "roadapathy" but the system always defaults to "demo." I deleted user demo but the system will not automatically boot into user "roadapathy" even when I tell it to use the MX User Manager.

on the live system?

just change the autologin-user in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.com from demo to whatever user you need.

Thank you. I checked and it's set to the user I choose but also this was there:
autologin-user=demo

Strange. I changed it to my other user and I'm trying it now.

I have it working! I had to edit further that conf file and then also mess with the startup session settings!
