Thank you for noPAE MX17 iso! MX support is really perfect!
But MX Tweak allows only to safe one personal configuration. I recycle old computers for social Projects so I need several desktop configurations, for example one for old people (big icons and letters), one for newcomers (some tools hidden) one for people who prefer the icons on the Desktop, others prefer a panel. Xubuntu Panel Switch allows to safe a lot of personal desktop configurations and also to export and import them. So I can create a second user (on the same PC) with the same desktop configurations as user 1. To have a look on Xubuntu Panel Switch https://c.web.de/@541133801338700319/Ir ... _UH7rOAcPA
Perhaps the tool is not very important, but a nice supplement.

That sounds like a useful addition.
Would be handy to be able save and restore by named files.

Well, it looks like xubuntu panel switch, or xfpanel-switch, can be built after installing gettext and intltool... it mostly works on MX - it won't save the MX default config, but you can use it to do the other predefined setups and make saves based on those - and of course the mx setup can be restored through tweak. It's potentially not a great idea to mix with MX because possible configuration clashes between the MX tools and xfpanel-switch, but you could request to have it ported. However it may be worthwhile to look closer at what can be done with MX Tweak alone as shown in the video post the other day you can do this already with Tweak by making your own templates

Ideally maybe at some point an equivalent point and click type functionality could be worked into mx tweak since tweak already sort of does this, and also controls themes.
