[Solved]Bluetooth error popup

#1 Post by yukon1937 » Tue Mar 13, 2018 9:25 am

This pops up every time I boot. I reinstalled with MX17 1-15-18 monthly iso and saved my home and it's still there. A Dedoimedo review mentioned it as a Bluetooth error. My old computer didn't have bluetooth and it wasn't there. My new computer has bluetooth. I installed MX17 with the same dvd and the popup was there. Does it mean anything? How do I get rid of it?

we actually updated the installer after mx17 release to fix this.

try running:

Code: Select all

dconf reset /org/blueman/transfer/shared-path
and see if that helps.

lenovo s21e & 100s - antiX-17, MX17(live-usb)
FYI: mx "test" repo is not the same thing as debian testing repo.

you might need to install dconf-cli package first that's why the error popped up in the first place the package was missing and the installer was trying to run the command posted above, the installer is fixed but not all people update it before installing as they should.
