Please post the output of this command:

Code: Select all

cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian.list
Since the postinst script is trying to modify that file.

Code: Select all

# Debian Stable.
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/ stretch/updates main contrib non-free
# deb-src http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free

#stretch backports
# deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ stretch-backports main
Because this package is Optional, I removed it.But I don't know if it is solution or not.

Code: Select all

 /etc/skel/.config/Thunar/ - Yes
 /root/.config/Thunar/ - No
In the second one only Pulse directory exists. But as see from desktop-defaults-xfce-mx17 deb, this package wants to write a lot values to
/root/.config/Thunar/
/root/.config/autostart/
/root/.config/clipit/
etc.

Installed the previous version and installed the new one. But when open Synaptic I found that desktop-defaults-xfce-mx17 is installed.

ok, I can't duplicate this on a 64 bit system...I'm going to set up a 32 bit system and see what happens.
