I tried newest 4.17.17 from test repo. But any Nvidia (manual) driver install resulted blank/black screen at the end. Which is not the case with antix kernels btw.

Letting us know what versions of the antiX kernel do work with the Nvidia drivers, along with what versions of those drivers aren't working for you, would help us try and find a solution.

Nvidia 390.77 manual intall:

antiX 4.16.13 and debian 4.9.110-3+deb9u3 are ok

4.17.17 (test repo) gives blank screen

Actually I don't remember any issues with antiX recent kernels (64bit). They worked with number manually installed nvidia video drivers.

I find that generic kernels run better than newest liquorix 14.18 which will not boot on this old system.Here is the info on my old system.thanks john

I installed the 4.19.1 and after that 4.19 but the result was always kernel panic. So i rolled back to the 4.18 using the mx package installer. :frown:
