caprea, if you have the time and inclination, could you check to see if all these new builds (vbox, nvidia, broadcom-sta and ndiswrapper) build with the 4.9.79 antiX kernel?

I just thought about it.
4.9.79, I would have tried the 4.9.77 ?
Whatever, I try both.
Broadcom-sta still isnt working on 4.15.

Ubuntu 18.04 has added 4.14.and 4.15 kernel patches to broadcom-sta, so let me rebuild with those for the test repo.

OK, try this broadcom-sta-dkms update on the 4.15 kernel: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1S3oeK ... jwF7g1khce

The patches add some conditional code that only goes into effect when it "sees" a particular minimum kernel version, so they just use the same code as standard for something like the 4.9 kernel series.

stevo - are you going to move all those new debs from testing to stretch soon? Do you consider them 'safe' for stable?
I ask because I want to put them in the antiX repo, but if I do, then MX users will also get them.

anti, the new ndiswrapper, broadcom-sta and virtualbox-guest debs work flawlessly on antix.

On a fresh antix-installation you have to install libelf-dev and libc6-dev, otherwise they won't build against 4.15-kernel.

The nvidia-driver 384.111 is already an option in ddm-mx, if you agree to look also for the backports.
This is only neccesary for people with nvidia-card, who want to install the 4.15-kernel.

Thanks for all to anti and stevo.
