Yes, it's with a snapshot ISO as I make a lot of changes after installation as I use different software from what's included on the default ISO (as I assume many folks do). I'm running the 4.14 debian kernel...

Ok, I can reproduce the error.

the good news is that an update to mx-iso-template wil probably fix things. the bad news we need to figure out what's wrong with it. I'll update progress on this thread to keep you guys in the loop.

I hadn't tried with a release ISO. Tried with two snapshot ISOs.

Kernel: 4.13.0-1-amd64 x86_64.

just giving you guys an update. we are testing new snapshot code now.

Thanks for pointing this stuff out. it affected both MX and antiX, so two bugs for the price of one.
