Thanks, great video, very useful to explain this tool too, otherwise it might be a bit confusing to users.
You sound calmer than in other videos :)

Re: Video: New MX-Tool: MX-Boot-Options
I noticed one thing I do not recall being explained in the video, or I missed it. Initially before downloading plymouth and rebooting the option for limited messages was showing. Upon reboot it was missing. Have I missed something?

Re: Video: New MX-Tool: MX-Boot-Options
limited messages is disabled when splash is enabled. doesn't really make any sense to have both, and IIRC there was some problem with the boot logs in that combination.

Re: Video: New MX-Tool: MX-Boot-Options
Thanks for the explanation. Was that described in the video? I do not remember seeing it. In any case no big deal if it was not.dolphin_oracle wrote: ↑Mon Sep 10, 2018 1:49 pmlimited messages is disabled when splash is enabled. doesn't really make any sense to have both, and IIRC there was some problem with the boot logs in that combination.

Nope, more or less because I forgot about it. But the checkbox are dynamic. the limited option returns if you disable splash.
thanks!
