LO to pdf conversions look to be okay - I'm still checking this.
I write PDFs from LO files regularly and I have never found a difference in the appearance of the LO original and the pdf. I produced one 40-page manual with tables and graphics this way.

I did have one early problem - a table in LO on screen showed feint borders but these didn't show in the pdf. I realised they didn't show in a print from the LO file either - it was because I hadn't set any. The lines displayed on screen were guidance lines only.

...but the main gist seemed to be sticking with certain conventions for headings etc. so as not to confuse LO.
Right. I define and use "MXUM" styles for the headers, templates for tables. Seems to be working at this early stage, but we'll see.

I'm using LO everyday to produce reports for my job and I send pdf to my clients. I heard there was issues in the past to convert pdf, but right now everything works ok.

Had that problem too, fixed by a secondary click on the image or table, then Properties>Borders> and set the lines and borders to Show All. Did not find a setting to make this an overall default so had to do each one. Otherwise no problems found.
