Post by skidoo » Fri Feb 10, 2017 12:25 am

didn't find a wiki page for this topic, so looking to buildup a list of recommended newsy sources
news + current events

lxer.com (lotta overlap between content here and linuxtoday)
gamingonlinux.com ( and its new spinoff site: lifeonlinux.com )
ubuntuhandbook.org ( provides intros/reviews of various software )

mentioned, but not necessarily "recommended":

Unfortunately, almost nobody does. But, it has only been live for a few days, so it will grow.

I'm a refugee from the Manjaro (Arch) 32 bit deprecation plan and several people on their forum recommended MX. So, of course, the first place I went to find more info was Reddit. I was surprised that there wasn't already a subreddit, so I created it.

You can take a look at our welcome page here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MXLinux/wiki/index
And keep track of the traffic here: https://www.reddit.com/r/MXLinux/about/traffic
