Move OS from VirtualBox to other partition or hard drive
1- Select the OS > Settings > Storage > select .vmdk > Then the button- Remove selected storage attachment > OK.
2- Move from your home/VirtualBox Vms the .vmdk file to the new partition or hard drive.
3- After from VirtualBox > File > Virtual Media Manager > and Remove the .vmdk.
4- Select again the OS > Settings > Storage > select-Controller:IDE > Adds hard disk > Choose existing disk > Navigate to the partition you have the .vmdk file >
Select the .vmdk file – Open and you are ready.

--If in starting your system it boots to an unwanted Desktop, right click desktop, then select leave and logout. At the
login screen there is a session chooser at the top of the screen.
