In VB, when I try to install Abiword-Gnumeric from the MX Package Installer, it says that there is a dependency problem with libabiword-3.0.
This works using Synaptic Package Manager. And it works in the standard MX-15.
I don't think this is a VB problem. What could it be?

neos is using a later version of the "mesa" graphics packages. Trying enabling the mx testing repository and trying again.

Bingo! That worked. The download was 91.3 MB.
Abiword never installed here either. It just put me in a revolving error message loop.
Thanks @dolphin_oracle.
