Request for Forum Member names

#1

Post by Auro Kumar Sahoo » Thu Aug 08, 2019 4:17 am

Can I Get all user name, all names of developers and core team as a text file format or excel form and if possible the avatars in a zip file?
I can go to quick link in top right and click on forum member and get these names but as the list is quite lengthy, probably 300+ pages, its difficult to copy individual names and avatars.

(If forum regulator can PM that it will be a great help.)

Thanks
AKS

To clarify on his behalf, Auro's bequest request is pursuant to an idea for a wallpaper, namely a variant of his Lorem Ipsum picture

Maybe this will lead to further discussion and clarification. At the bottom of the Index page is Legend which has lists of Administrators, Development Team. Global Moderators, and users by clicking on the description. By clicking on the names in the list, the User Profile is brought up.

I suspect what he's asking for is something along the lines of someone running a SQL query on the database to find that information and exporting the results to a .csv or text file for him so he doesn't have to spend weeks doing it himself manually via the forum's user interface?

There are not that many names to deal with using the Legend functions.

Not trying to argue with you, I'm just saying. 334 pages of members at 20 per page, except only 4 on the last page.

A SQL query could also be made to show only active members, not those who've been deleted. But I'll bow out of this topic and leave it between you and AKS to work out. :shakehands:

Not arguing either just pointing out the admins, devs and mods are listed separately. Example of mods.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

That's probably the case from what I understand.

If it were just the admin, dev and mod teams, that would not be needed. But all other members....

Then I misunderstood. he wants all 6664 members!? He will have to make that query request to peregrine. I do not think it will be a priority. But no harm in asking.
