Private messages - can't see or delete

I apparently have two private messages in my inbox, but I am unable to see them or delete them. I have no other messages saved or stored. I presume they are remnants from an earlier time when I was using antiX, but I have no way of knowing. While I am not in danger of accumulating 200 messages, I would like to know if these are worth reading and/or keeping. Thanks.
