I check the local obits regularly to make sure that I am not included in the list.
Backup: Dell9010, MX-19_B2, Win7, 120 SSD, WD 232GIB HD, 4GB RAM
Primary :Homebrew64 bit Intel duo core 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Kingston SSD, Seagate1TB.
MX-18.2 64bit. Also MX17, Kubuntu14.04 & Puppy 6.3.

Smilies are hard wired. If one must really say thank you, just say it. I would use the words sparingly as we do not want to overpopulate the board with just thank yous. No issue if coupled with a germane response to a post including other information.

Hopefully the extension will come out of beta soon.

Does it really need to be tied to a cumulative counter?
It's just a response without cluttering the forum with "Me too's".

No. I guess our perspectives are different regarding non-informational posts. But I am not making any hard and fast rule.

I think I understand your reasons for accumulating data,
just thinking more in terms of a temporary solution..
