Forum will be down Friday for changing servers

We have outgrown our house, and are moving to larger lodgings on Friday. The down time should not be long, if all goes well...

Our bandwith and CPU usage has been well over the limit for the last few months, and after looking at the alternatives and talking to some people here we decided that we needed to switch to a managed VPS with greater capacity.

We will need to cover the greater costs through our donations fund, in case anyone is in the mood to give (use tab above). Thanks for any help!

I was tempted to add an audio file of my attempt at pronouncing that sentence--would make one think of some corporeal process "down there," I fear.

Whahaha. I would change the sentence first then if you are going to do that, to this:

"uit kleine eikels groeien grote eiken"

We have our verbs a little jostled

What time on Friday is the shutdown expected to begin?

Also is there a guesstimate on how long the forum will be down?

It will depend on Peregrine's work schedule, I think, I can't give a definite time at this point. On amount of time: "It should not be down long."
