#1 Postby eemaestro » Fri Apr 29, 2011 8:36 pm

What is the "Rating"? What does it mean? Why should I care?

I have to say that this is one of those things that I never use. I'm not sure that all good threads for thanks are the best threads. Or that all the not as good threads with less Thanks are really less useful.

When taken alone your argument has some merit merit. Nevertheless it is an indication of helpfulness when viewed along with reputation. I also believe that most users do not give frivolous thanks.

Pshaw. That's so Horatio Alger.

I've fully embraced the entitlement mentality that so permeates modern society.
