Strikeout BB code

#1 Postby richb » Fri Mar 23, 2018 9:10 pm

I had a need to strike out a word in a post so I added a strikeout code to the Forum post codes. It is the s at the end of the code list atop the post block. Highlight the word or phrase to strikeout and click on the s.strikeout
Useful to edit in place keeping the sense of the original.

Well I used it when I incorrectly stated a comment was on Distrowatch and it was on Sourceforge. You pointed this out. Instead of adding an edit explanation at the bottom of my post, I struck out Distrowatch and put in Sourceforge next to it. I just think it can be a cleaner method for a short edit done in place.

Good addition. Thanks. Is it possible to turn that "s" into "[s]s[/s]" as a reminder? Or even "[s]abc[/s]"?

I will see if that is possible. By the way if there are other BB code you think may be useful I can try to add them.
