If I'm not mistaken, tint2 launchers don't read the X-KeepTerminal=true in the desktop file, so you need to change the launcher to use open your terminal program with the full pathname of btop as a parameter.
And fyi, btop is already available for MX in the default debian repository.

Re: Kaffeine dvb-t scan finds no channels
The cx88xx driver also can take a parameter for tuner type. The tuner chip is separate from the Conexant cx23883 chip. The problem is that I can't find any info for what tuner chip your card uses. If you can look at the ICs on your card and find some identification for the tuner chip (common types i...

Re: Kaffeine dvb-t scan finds no channels
lspci shows this card has a Conexant CX23880 DVB chipset. At LinuxTV.org I see only one pci Zarlink card with that chipset family. That entry indicates this option is needed cx88xx option card=42 So I would try: sudo rmmod cx88xx sudo modprobe cx88xx card=42 and then open Kaffeine and try searching ...

Re: Kaffeine dvb-t scan finds no channels
LinuxTV.org has this to say about the zl10353 The QT1010 in this device has it's problems. If you get no or poor signal on Linux, that's "normal". You can try lowering the signal strength from your antenna, remove signal boosters and/or buy an attenuator. Or buy a device with better suppo...

Re: Unable to access testing repo via mx package manager in MX19.4 [Solved]
I am puzzled as well. @Adrian knows that code much better than I, perhaps he has a clue why that would happen.

Re: Kaffeine dvb-t scan finds no channels
That terminal output looks like a working card with no antenna (or a not good enough one) attached.

Re: KDE updates not working (GLib-ERROR Creating pipes for GWakeup: Too many open files)
My bad. I assumed you were running MX-23. In MX-21 (debian bullseye) that file is in the plasma-framework package. They moved it to the qml-module-org-kde-qqc2breezestyle package in debian bookworm.
