Re: Pale Moon dark tweak

Thanks for compiling the gtk3 version, Stevo. Is it simply a case of installing it over the current version, or is it a case of out with the old and in with the new?

Re: Pale Moon dark tweak

I've just installed the Adwaita Dark KDE transparent desktop theme. It looks good and I think I'll keep it, but it doesn't solve the problem with Pale Moon.

Re: Pale Moon dark tweak

Thanks for the replies.

I tried a Pale Moon dark theme, but this didn't solve the problem. I didn't try a gtk2 theme because getting it working is beyond me

If a gtk3 version of Pale Moon solves the problem then I'll be happy to give it a try.

Re: Pale Moon dark tweak

The problem with Pale Moon lies with input fields - it is all but impossible to see any entered text on some websites. FF used to have this problem, and it was fixed by the FF dark theme tweak in MX Tools. I was wondering if this tweak could be used on Pale Moon to solve the problem.

Pale Moon dark tweak

I'm using the Pale Moon browser and I'm having problems with unreadable text submission on some sites because I'm using a dark theme. Is there any chance MX Tweak could have could have a dark theme tweak for Pale Moon to solve this problem?

Re: Midori Browser

Thanks for the replies.

After reading that Midori is now Chrome based and a bit buggy I decided to give it a miss. I've gone for Pale Moon instead.

Midori Browser

I was looking for a lightweight browser, and after watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8-dDdgNgCs I decided to give Midori a try. I am particularly interested in the fact that the new version allows the use of Chrome extensions. I downloaded the browser from the test repo, but I have found tha...

Re: Suggestions for MX19 KDE

Thanks to richb & Stevo for your tips. I explored how to show hidden files in Dolphin and it took me ages to find out how it is done. I initially assumed it could be found through the right click menu like xfce, but when I realised this isn't the case I was left baffled. I finally tripped over t...

Suggestions for MX19 KDE

Greetings MX gentlefolks :) I finally got round to installing MX19 KDE last week, and I've got to say I'm highly impressed. I have a few feature suggestions - if they've already been suggested please forgive my ignorance. I had never used KDE before, all I'd ever seen of it was a video that I watche...

Re: Gstreamer Player installation

Thanks for the info. I tried installing it onto MX on a USB, but had no luck.

I'm interested in the Gstreamer bit. I have found Gnome Videos (aka Totem) & the Parole Video Player both use this, so I've downloaded them from the repo and installed them instead.
