Looking at the QSI it would appear that updating the BIOS may be helpful. Even if it does not cure this particular issue it may solve others that may not be apparent.
I solved a power manager issue since 4.9.0.6 by making sure my BIOS was updated to the latest issued version.

MX 21 by default uses your normal (SUDO) password for admin (root) access.

You can change it in MX Tweak > Other.

I use Clipgrab, it allows me to select the vid quality, so if it is more of a talk rather than a visual I save bandwidth.

Just a thought. I live in a region where A4 is the paper size. I always have to change the default page size from Letter to A4 because if I don't an extra sheet (blank) is ejected.
