Re: Slow page loads on forum
Apparently it's just me, and this Firefox. I tried disabling my two add-ons, and then tried with a fresh new profile. Then I tried the latest version 41.x with a fresh profile. No joy.
Then I tried using Konqueror, which I haven't used in ages, and it works fine, lightening fast even.
Go figure.

Re: Slow page loads on forum
Yes! I'm using Firefox ESR 38 on Debian 8. What I've noticed is that pages load to about 75%, then stall. After a delay of 15 or 20 seconds they finish loading. For example, the Board Index page loads as far as "Mark Forums Read," then stalls. After a delay it finishes. This "Post a R...

<wild guess>
System Settings --> Window Behavior --> Window Behavior --> Titlebar Actions tab
Here you can set the desired action if you double-click a titlebar. How is yours set?

Re: kde-config-touchpad
Aha! That was it. I never looked beyond the first one I saw. 0.8.1-2mcr120120+1 fixed it right up.
Thanks guys.

kde-config-touchpad
This is a fresh install of MX-14.3 with KDE on my ThinkPad. I've never had any trouble with the touchpad with other distros. The touchpad works but is a little twitchy, so I loaded kde-config-touchpad so I could make some adjustments. This removed xserver-xorg-input-synaptics xserver-xorg-input-sy...

Re: New Manual?
1) I believe it would see good use if it were prominently displayed somewhere.
2) Detailed instructions and explanations are always good things.
3) I'd be glad to help where I can.

That's always one of my first additions to a new install.
