You can always use "ac_add_options --enable-official-branding" to have the firefox look not the minefield one.

You can set it up to boot from ISO, search for "from ISO" in Wiki.

But he said "Presently in M8 we have version 1.1.00 05Nov2007" that was obviously not compiled for M8.
