Re: What's the meaning behind the codenames for MX and antiX?

MX names are non-political by design. We could have tried Red Horizon :) BTW, we are trying to be non-political here because people have different political orientations but what matter here is the technology and it's a pity to get in useless and time consuming debates about stuff that's not direct...

Re: Can't make a bootable USB

MX doesn't support LVM installation for now, it needs regular partitions or free space on disk. Not sure why you stick is not booting, I assume you used the right /dev/sd... instead of that /dev/sdX, right? Re: Packages not flowing upstream into Debian

MX Configuration tools ever be available as a Snap? No. Snap solves a problem that doesn't exist here, it's not a problem to have the .deb installed, but if the package is checking for example if "mx-installer" is installed and tries to install it (like MX Snapshot does -- just a small ex...

Re: Fantastic job

We could add though in MX Package Installer a "Dropbox Thunar Addin" entry under "Dropbox" so people would know it's available I think that it would do the job. Thanks for the suggestion, the change should come by soon in MX Package Installer (one of the benefits of using a nimb...
