Re: Lenovo T60 32 bit PAE or non-PAE?

I doubt PAE has anything to do with sound problems, it's probably the audio driver. All the CPUs are PAE capable, the last CPU can even do 64 bit.

Re: MX-17 Beta 2 Feedback

I'm using the last zsync command you posted to download the ISO, here's what it should look like: zsync -i MX-17.b1_x64.iso http://iso.mxrepo.com/Testing/MX-17/MX-17.b2_x64.iso.zsync #################### 100.0% 775.4 kBps DONE reading seed file MX-17.b1_x64.iso: *************************************...

Re: MX-17 Beta 2 Feedback

I've complained about this privately in the past. It makes our programs look amateurish. There's a very simple explanation to that, it's because they are written by amateurs. But if professional people or better coders would bother to contribute we'd gladly accept the contributions. I forgot the ad...

I have always been curious why does it take so long for a distro to move up or get more attention. I think the one poster was correct in saying ...

Re: LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review

I only wish the reviewer wouldn't credit MX for developments carried out by antiX. That's true, there was also something about MX doing persistency better than antiX which would be strange since we rely on BitJam's scripts. But for people who are not aware of all the nitty-gritty parts is hard to k...

Re: LinuxInsider MX17 Beta review

I really like that the reviewer focused on "On the Go" features.

Re: Skype for Linux -- lots better!

I have 1 kid in MN and another in OR and they both have MX laptops and kids. It's always been nice to see them on skype during the holidays. I'm just trying to find something we can continue doing this with. One of those LTs is 32 bit. - mike Mike, do they have cellphones? Skype works fine on Andro...
