I'm a long way from my research on all of this stuff - quite a few years have gone by... ;) I think you are going to have to do the first part of the how-to, which is choose the font that you want to use that has the size that you want to use & then convert the font into the GRUB compatible form...

Many months ago Air VPN stopped functioning on MX (for me only it would seem). I'm well past reinstalling systems (especially dramatically modified ones) to solve problems. So with little help (even a tad of hindrance) from the forum, I've just left it in the too hard basket & worked around this...

Admin has told me that I'm not allowed to use the MX forum if I use a VPN! That's not good enough in this day & age.
