Let me know if it works. I had to cut out a step from the way Mint had it building which was causing it to fail, but our builds seem to have automatically done that step anyway. I installed it, and it showed up in the menu and ran, but I don't have anything else on the network...maybe my phone?

The fireworks are to scare away the monster devouring the sun. They always work!

That points out some of the risks in following random instructions meant for other distros, especially without backing up.

Exactly what was the issue you were trying to fix? Was your BT mouse not connecting at boot? As a data point, my super cheap Amazon BT mouse does...

As a test, you could try booting a live USB of MX23-KDE, just to show that it should work out of the box with those Intel graphics on your Optimus hybrid graphics laptop. The Live sessions are sysvinit-only.

Can you attach a small example of a problem file here?
