I'm looking into this. DAS layout is described in /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/fi already but it doesn't show up in keyboard layout selection. I think there's something up with that. See "Finnish (DAS)" section toward end of file below: rich@mx17:~ $ cat /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/fi // // X...

Hadn't thought too much about it yet - something earlier made me wonder about it - can do it anyway in synaptic already so I guess that's one less thing to consider

Apt sources? In You would just want to right click on the mx updater icon in the system tray (the little open cardboard box looking thing) and click check for updates, or you could go into the terminal and do sudo apt update (live password demo) MX User Manual section 5, "Software Management&qu...
