Fresh AMD|Radeon hardware owners should definitely stick with newest Mesa drivers (v.21.2.4 stable at the moment). I don't see any reason against.

SwampRabbit Sure thing. radeonsi in /etc/environment is just to make sure hardware video acceleration would work as it should ( mpv with hwdec=auto option) Did it not work until you did that?
