Re: The Hordes are coming ...

Again and again I see comments about cheap USB sticks, but WHERE do people buy them cheaply? The stores around here in Dorset and Hampshire, UK very rarely stock USB sticks and when they do they're priced at £20 (sterling) or more for a small 8GB stick. Re: Cool computer and a pretty good day

In the UK, we've just had the hottest February day on record - 20 degrees C (68F). The daytime UK average for February is just 7 C (45F)!

With regard to dust cleaning a PC, I always use a 1/2 inch paint brush, and keep the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner close to where I am dusting.

Re: article: What’s wrong with the Raspberry Pi

The article doesn't focus enough on the original reason for the creation of the Raspberry pi - namely education. With the versatility of software created specifically for the Pi, and the GPIO pins, nothing comes close to it for that purpose, especially if price is factored in. I run two of them 24/7...

Re: What Verison Of MX Do I Have

Or just use the 'Quick System Info' tool from MX Tools.

If you are fully updated, you will have 18.1; you may need to reboot to have 18.1 displayed.

Re: MX 17/18 Repository: The Strawberry Music Player Thread

With the reduced use of the cloud when compared to Clementine, does that mean the loss of the ability to get lyrics or artist information about the current playing track with just one click? If so, I would be very much against it replacing Clementine, as It's a feature I use frequently. Chris No, t...
